 Shiv Bhupathi

Shiv K. Bhupathi launched Foerster Bhupathi Sports International LLC in 2009 along with partner William M. Foerster. VOTSA, the company’s flagship product, serves as a video analysis portal for tennis enthusiasts around the world. Bhupathi and Foerster are also the principles of Foerster Bhupathi International LLC, founded in 1997 to provide business and technology solutions to companies in the financial services sector.

 

Bhupathi has had an active tennis career as both a player and coach. As a nationally ranked junior player in India, Bhupathi won the 14 and under national championship where he earned a number 2 national ranking. He attended college in South Carolina on a full tennis scholarship where he played number one singles and doubles. Prior to embarking on his Wall Street career, Bhupathi was a tennis teaching professional and he continues to teach his children as well as other juniors and adults in Wisconsin using VOTSA. His cousin Mahesh Bhupathi is among the best doubles players in the world with 11 Grand Slams to his credit.


 

 Bill Foerster

William M. Foerster launched Foerster Bhupathi Sports International LLC in 2009 along with partner Shiv Bhupathi. Bhupathi and Foerster are also the principles of Foerster Bhupathi International LLC, founded in 1997 to provide business and technology solutions to companies in the financial services sector.

 

Mr. Foerster is an avid sports fanatic which today is an integral part of his family’s lifestyle. Mr. Foerster has coached several sports where he integrated the use of video analysis as a developmental tool into his coaching methodology. The results were astounding. His players improved at rapid rate and his teams earned a number of championships. Suffice it to say, Mr. Foerster is a firm believer in the power of video analysis.


 

Tom Gullikson Tom Gullikson

Tom Gullikson brings team VOTSA a wealth of professional experience as both a player and a coach. Gullikson made his professional debut at the 1976 French Open, and over the course of his career, he captured 16 doubles titles (10 with identical twin brother Tim) and one singles title. Tom and Tim reached the Wimbledon doubles final in 1983, and one year later, Tom won the US Open mixed doubles title with partner Manuela Maleeva. In 1984, Tom achieved career-high rankings of No. 34 in singles and No. 9 in doubles.

 

Tom began his coaching career shortly after his retirement from playing and became one of the earliest coaches with USTA Player Development. In this role, Tom worked with some of the best young Americans including Jim Courier, Todd Martin and Jennifer Capriati. He later served as the program’s Director of Coaching from 1997 to 2001. Gullikson also served as U.S. Davis Cup captain from 1994-99 and led the 1995 team to the Davis Cup title. Additionally, he was the men’s coach during the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, where Andre Agassi captured the men’s singles gold medal under Tom’s leadership. Today, Tom serves as Lead National Coach for the USTA Player Development program where he coaches with some of the best young American players on the women’s side.


 

Jeff Aranda
Jeff Aranda

Jeff Aranda, USPTA, is an accomplished tennis teaching professional in Wisconsin. Prior to coaching, Jeff enjoyed tremendous success as a competitive tennis player at the junior, college, and adult levels. He began playing tennis at the age of 6 where he was highly ranked in the State, Midwest Section, and Nationals throughout his junior career. Jeff went on to play at the University of Tennessee and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where he competed in four national championships, two NCAA and two NAIA competitions. Professionally, his tennis travels led him across Europe including an experience with the Bundesliga team in Germany. Jeff is the Event Coordinator for the Tim and Tom Gullikson Foundation Milwaukee event that has raised over $200,000.00 for the Foundation and newly merged partner, the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.

 

Since 1996 Jeff has been a tennis teaching professional at the Mequon Elite Racquet and Fitness Club which also serves as the home of the Aranda Tennis Academy. He and his brother Jordan are Co-Directors of the academy where VOTSA is deeply rooted into a successful junior development program. When Jeff is not on the court, he can be found at tennis clubs all over the United States demonstrating the benefits and the simplicity of integrating VOTSA as an effective developmental tool.


 

George Opelka
George Opelka

As a member of the Board of Directors, George Opelka brings over 25 years of software and consulting experience to VOTSA. Mr. Opelka serves as a Senior Vice President of ACI, a leading innovator in providing software solutions for the valuation industry.  He is a recognized leader and has lectured across the country leading discussions covering workflow automation, data standards, and rules based technology.

 

Mr. Opelka is a tennis evangelist and maintains an active role in junior development following his son Reilly, a nationally ranked junior enrolled in the USTA Player Development program in Boca Raton, Florida.  Opelka received his Undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. He is married and has two children.
